In order to determine which email marketers can be trusted with your unsubscribe request, the UnsubSafe service automatically searches though its massive database of email marketer’s reputations and extracts an UnsubScore. Based on the score that is returned by UnsubScore, LashBack knows when it’s safe to unsubscribe and when requests should be safely kept away from un-trusted email marketers.

 
 
 
 

Option 1

If you currently allow your customers to report spam, you can simply forward a copy of these messages to LashBack via secure SMTP. Alternatively, if your network already filters out spam messages sent to your customers, you can simply forward a copy of filtered message to LashBack. In either case, LashBack will parse through those messages to extract the email marketer’s identity and unsubscribe reputation, or UnsubScore. If the email marketer has a good reputation, LashBack will automatically and safely unsubscribe your customer from future mailings. If the email marketer has a bad unsubscribe reputation, the unsubscribe attempt is suppressed.

Option 2

If your organization doesn’t already have a network-level spam filtering service deployed, or you would like to extend spam reporting all the way to your customer, LashBack can integrate a customizable reporting toolbar that is directly installed into the customers email client (Outlook and Outlook Express).

Deploying the UnsubSafe toolbar solution allows your organization the opportunity to increase the perceived value of your service by enabling your customers to see and experience the value of UnsubSafe first hand. Additionally, customization of the toolbar with your organization’s logo further deepens the bond between you and your customers.
