For over a decade Brandon has been building products and companies that increase the integrity of email. In 2000, Brandon co-founded Rdestiny, a Flywheel Ventures backed marketing agency that focused on using email for new client acquisitions. In 2003, as federal regulations governing email began to emerge, Brandon exited Rdestiny to devote his focus to LashBack. With LashBack co-founder Eric Castelli, Brandon established industry-first tools enabling responsible marketers to ensure compliance with United States law as well as similar international email regulations. In 2012, Brandon became Chairman of LashBack, transitioned his day-to-day responsibilities to LashBack’s new Chief Executive Officer, Peter Wilson, and turned his focus again to the creation of new companies.

Brandon has served as a unique voice for email best practices. He has spoken at the headquarters of the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., and has participated in international regulatory discussions pertaining to email through organizations such as The London Action Plan (LAP), the Association of the German Internet Industry (ECO), and The European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA). Brandon has been featured in WIRED magazine, eWeek and Direct Marketing News for his outspoken vision for email.

Peter Wilson

President & Chief Executive Officer

Peter joined LashBack in 2012, bringing more than two decades of experience as a senior executive, board member, and advisor to growing technology and service businesses. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Cutting Edge Media, a diversified provider of marketing services, data management, and technology. Peter has been a consistent advocate for best practices and raising industry standards, and is active in both the Executive Council of Performance Marketing and the Performance Marketing Association. Prior to joining Cutting Edge Media, Peter advised a number of leading advertising and marketing firms as Managing Director and head of KPMG’s U.S. Technology, Software, and Services investment banking team. Peter previously held positions at Haverford Capital Advisors, Brown Brothers Harriman, and First Union (now Wells Fargo).

Peter is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and a former board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Peter is married and has three children.

Andy McKay

Vice President, Products and Technology

As Vice President of Products and Technology, Andy is responsible for the planning and oversight of LashBack service offerings, technology, and data management strategies. He joined the company as a Data Specialist in 2008 and quickly began filling leadership roles within the development team, including Project Manager and Director of Technology. He has a deep understanding of how to fulfill the LashBack mission from both a marketing and technology perspective, and has been responsible for functionality, database architecture, and infrastructure improvements to LashBack’s technology platform. Prior to joining LashBack, Andy served as a Production Manager and on-air radio personality for a nationally syndicated radio show, a Customer Retention Specialist at customer service outsourcer Convergys, and a QA Specialist at market research firm Marketing Horizons.

Andy studied business administration and graphic design at St. Louis Community College and computer network systems at ITT-Tech. He spends the majority of his free time reading, gardening, traveling, restoring old furniture, and brewing his own beer.

Dave Hughes

Director of Client Services

Dave has been with LashBack since 2005. He leads the Client Services Department and is focused on always delivering the highest-quality products and services to our clients. Dave brings a unique set of qualifications to his position. He has a deep understanding of our clients’ needs having worked in this market and at LashBack for many years, and leverages his skills and experience as a former Senior Programmer. He has been instrumental in the development of new client-focused data management and review strategies. Prior to joining LashBack, Dave worked as a Programmer at Kanbay International and A.G. Edwards & Sons (now Wells Fargo).

Dave holds a master’s degree from Western Illinois University and an undergraduate degree in Information Technology from Southwestern Illinois College. He is married with two children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing racquetball, completing stained glass projects, gardening, cooking, and watching his son play baseball.

Tim Kastner

Director of Sales

As Director of Sales, Tim is responsible for business development and revenue generation at LashBack. Tim joined LashBack in 2006, when the company first introduced its suite of compliance products and services. Tim previously cofounded and served as VP of Sales for Blade Technologies, an enterprise-level data networking and virtualization firm. With over twenty years of technology sales experience, Tim is dedicated to educating the online marketplace about email compliance matters and equipping online marketers and advertisers with innovative business and compliance solutions.

Tim attended Central Texas University and proudly served in the United States Army, including operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He enjoys travel, golf, and classic cars.
